This is Part One of a medley in 2 parts of 6 great hymns of praise. The music was used by the touring woodwind ensemble of Cedarville College in Ohio. The average church orchestra, woodwind and sax players (or brass in place of any or all saxes) can learn and enjoy this piece, with a little rehearsal. It becomes a repeat piece for groups that learn it. Nothing is virtuoso in this arrangement, but it does require "good" high school level players on flute, oboe and clarinet. Church orchestra enesembles who do not have bassoon or bass clarinets, will be able to substitute a brass, or strings in place of the lower woodwinds. Parts are provided to make this possible.
