Conductor's Handbook, A, Vol. I

Thomas House Publications|Resource Material

"A Conductor's Handbook" is subtitled "An Exercise Manual for Individual or Ensemble Practice." It is designed to provide any conductor (student or professional alike) a progressive set of exercises to "keep the stick sharp." Author Vernon Sanders collected the exercises from John Nelson, who used them in his conducting classes at the Aspen Music Festival. Mr. Sanders has refined these examples over a period of years, teaching technique to undergraduate and graduate conducting students.
