This arrangement is not difficult, but was used on concerts by Marine Band soloists in their church concert ministries. Sung by Bev Shea, used in every Billy Graham Crusade, found in almost every hymnal created, this is a beloved hymn that congregations respond to each time it is played. The solo part exists for every instrument of the orchestra. An orchestration to accompany any soloists is also available. A free choir part is included with this solo, so the church or school choral singers can also accompany the instrumental soloist. Permission is granted to copy the free choir part for all singers. Good student players, as well as professionals, have recorded this solo and use it regularly.
