This lovely piece offers a fresh approach to the age-old problem of offering a meaningful benediction that is also interesting and tastefully written. Arranged in the A B A form, the middle section offers the tune while the opening and closing sections imitate church "bell sounds" and are written in alternating 3/4 and 2/4 meter for ease of interruption and performance. Reverent, timely and worshipful, this benediction is an excellent addition to any library.
