This saxophone quintet piece is appropriate anytime but is perfect for the Christmas season. Beautiful harmonies, inspiring melody, independent lines and exciting rhythmic movement along with exuberant dynamics are the hallmarks of this fine piece. For wonderful effect, a mysteriously charming middle section featuring the baritone sax in the lead adds an element of surprise and contrast which then bursts into the spirited ending.
