Bob Burroughs has created an easy arrangement for brass quintet of an old tune that was the setting for Fanny Crosby's words, "Safe in the Arms of Jesus." Although the technical difficulty is undemanding, the melody moves through the top four parts with interesting counterpoint, and a strong, fresh bass line in the tuba. This piece provides an opportunity for the beginning or intermediate quintet to sound very good.
