Commemorating the 500th anniversary of the discovery of the Americas, this arrangement is an excellent choice for low brass ensembles at patriotic and/or public gatherings. The piece incorporates a nice counter-melody that adds a variety of textures, as do short trio and duet sections. Although there are refreshing new chords, the integrity and respect of the anthem is retained.
