This arrangement is for orchestra or any group of instruments with a solo instrument. This is one of the concert finales used by Jerry Rodgers, Marine Band soloist, in almost every concert he presents. The solo part is demanding, but has been learned by good high school and college players for contests and ministry. The orchestra parts are not difficult, but are complimentary to the solo and add neatly to the total effect of the arrangment. The solo parts are not overpowered by the addition of the full orchestra, but are enhanced. Of cource, it is possible to use any size group of instrumentalists to accompany the solo part, since the solo and piano parts stand alone, without any additions. This is definitely a concert style arrangement, and concert finale, but the music also works as a general music ministry presentation.
