The core of this collection is the brass quartet consisting of two trumpets and two trombones. This is all that is required to play the complete book; however, additional parts have carefully and artfully been arranged and included that add richness and fullness to the quartet. The first part is the horn part which is independent of the other parts and the second is the tuba part which adds stronger depth to the bass line. The result is a full brass sextet of two rumpets, a horn, two trombones and a tuba.
