This medley is a missions conference favorite that goes back and fourth between "Send the Light" and "We've a Story to Tell To the Nations." Between these two missions hymns, short excerpts from "Lift High the Cross" create a dramatic musical effect. This arrangement is played in a steady tempo and is, at times, almost march-like. Most of the setting sounds fairly large, but one middle section based on "Send the Light" includes a quieter melody, with hints of "Beneath the Cross of Jesus" in some light woodwind and string background lines.
