This Welsh tune is attributed to William Rowlands around 1915 and was used widely in England for the hymn "Love Divine, All Loves Excelling" by Charles Wesley. This arrangement for "Five or More" is designed to be used as an instrumental prelude, offertory, or concert piece. The flexible instrumentation for brass quartet with piano reduction can be expanded to include strings, woodwinds, and/or percussion for the larger ensemble.
